WiiM Home App Updates
Big updates came to the WiiM Home app in May. Check out the release notes for:
Center Channel for Dolby 5.1 Setup – Users can now assign a device as the center speaker, improving surround sound performance (requires an upcoming beta firmware update).
Improved Qobuz Browsing – A redesigned layout enhances navigation, making it more intuitive and closer to the native Qobuz app experience.
Thumb Up/Down for Pandora – Adds support for rating tracks directly within Pandora (requires an upcoming firmware update).
NAS Indexing Enhancements – Supports Minim Media Server indexing and folder category browsing for Windows Media Player Share in Advanced Mode.
Local Music Improvements – Organize music by composers and genres, with a refined genre page layout and a new "Date Added" sorting option.
HotMix Update – Adds Rap US and Rap Français radio stations, plus the ability to add HotMix stations to presets (requires an upcoming firmware update).
Android-Specific Updates – Full track title display for KKBox, NAS, USB, Samba, Local Music, and Qobuz, plus Moving Microphone Measurement (MMM) for Stereo Room Correction (beta).
Lock Screen Controls – Expanded playback control support from the lock screen, except for Bluetooth input.
