We shipped two WiiM Ultra firmware updates, gave the Mini its most substantial update in months, launched a community challenge tied to the summer's biggest soccer tournament, kept the Tech Tuesday series going strong with four new articles, and expanded the Help Center with a fresh wave of PC app and Bluetooth guides. 📢 WiiM Ultra Firmware Updates
v5.2.817334 — May 18, 2026
A feature-packed release with several highly-requested additions:
Simultaneous Audio Output — COAX or Optical can now run alongside Line Out at the same time, configurable in the WiiM Home app.
TV Remote Volume Step — Customize the volume increment when using your TV remote via HDMI CEC.
Automatic Update Delay — You can now defer automatic firmware updates, configurable in the app.
Audio Input Latency — Reduced to approximately 35–40 ms.
VU Meter & Spectrum Display — Fixed stuttering when switching display modes.
USB Library — Fixed special character display issues; improved scanning speed and stability.
Plus: general playback stuttering reductions, input switching speed improvements, and a fix for Egypt daylight saving time display.

Dolby Playback — Fixed audio stuttering with Dolby bitstreams.

The Mini gets a solid update bringing it in line with recent improvements across the lineup:

Reduced Playback Latency — Less delay when starting playback.
Qobuz — Added Track Radio, Artist Radio, and Album Radio.
SoundCloud — Added third-party login support.
Audio Sync — Improved accuracy for group playback.
TuneIn / iHeartRadio / Pandora / Plex / Amazon Music — A wave of fixes for station behavior, resume behavior, unexpected stops, and short playlist interruptions.
Live Metadata — Added ICY support for richer "now playing" info on TuneIn and iHeartRadio.
