Music isn't just something you hear—it's something you feel. And now, with the new Audio Spectrum Display feature for WiiM Ultra, you can see it too.
We're thrilled to announce that we've opened beta testing for one of our most requested features: a real-time audio spectrum visualizer that transforms your WiiM Ultra's screen into a dynamic display of your music's frequency response. Whether you're streaming your favorite playlist, exploring new albums, or rediscovering classics, this feature adds an entirely new dimension to your listening experience.
See the Music, Feel the Energy
The Audio Spectrum Display does exactly what the name suggests: it shows you the different frequency bands of your audio in real-time, with responsive bars that dance and pulse in sync with your music. Watch the low frequencies pump with the bassline, see the mids swell with vocals and guitars, and observe the highs shimmer with cymbals and synths.
It's mesmerizing, immersive, and surprisingly informative, giving you visual insight into the sonic landscape of every track you play.
Join the Beta Test Today
Ready to try it? Getting access to the Audio Spectrum Display is simple:
Update your WiiM Home app to version 3.3.9 or later
Navigate to Device Settings → Device Info → Join Beta Testing and select "Audio Spectrum Display"
Go to Device Settings → Screen → Playback and choose "Spectrum" as your playback screen
That's it! Your WiiM Ultra screen will now display the audio spectrum visualization whenever you play music.
Part of a Bigger Visual Experience
The Audio Spectrum Display joins our existing customizable VU Meter faces, giving you even more ways to personalize how your WiiM Ultra looks during playback. With VU meters, you can choose from a range of meticulously crafted designs and select between Output Amplitude mode (which responds to your volume level) or Original Signal mode (which reflects the track's original dynamics regardless of volume).
Together, these features let you tailor your WiiM Ultra's display to match your mood, your music genre, or your room's aesthetic. Want something technical and precise? The spectrum display delivers. Prefer something vintage and stylish? Choose a classic VU meter design. The choice is yours.
Built on Your Feedback
This feature wouldn't exist without the passionate WiiM community. Many of you have asked for visualizer options, and we've been listening. The Audio Spectrum Display is just one more way we'll show our commitment to continuously improving the WiiM Ultra experience based on what matters most to you.
As this is a beta feature, we're counting on your feedback to help us refine and perfect it before the full release. Try it out, experiment with different music genres, and let us know what you think in our community forum.
The Future of Visual Audio
This is just the beginning. We're constantly exploring new ways to enhance your music listening experience, and features like the Audio Spectrum Display show our dedication to making WiiM Ultra not just sound incredible, but look incredible too.
Your music has never looked—or felt—this good. Update your app, join the beta, and see for yourself.
Happy listening—and watching!
